Update

Online Registration for PotomacFest is now closed.  You can register on Saturday or Sunday at the following times and locations.  Tickets for the Festival Party may also be purchased at the door on Saturday beginning at 6pm.

1. Money collected for the gear swap is a donation to AW as a part of the fund-raising efforts of PoFest!
2. You may enter as many non-boat items as you want for a total of $5.
3. You may enter as many boats as you want. The cost will be $10 per boat.

Each Potomac Whitewater Festival party participant who joins AW or renews their membership at the July 12th P'fest party will be entered into a raffle to win a Jackson Kayak boat of choice. There are few games of chance with odds this good! The raffle will be open from the start of the party until whenever Jeff Paine, AW's new Events Director, calls it quits after having been up since the crack of dawn!

Have we got the goods! For starters you'll be able to bid on three pairs of Washington Nationals' Presidential seats directly behind Home Plate (value - $300 per ticket!): parking pass included with each ticket pair. Other silent auction items include:

The current level at Little Falls is 2.75 and falling slowly and based on current upstream trends it should continue to do so for the next 24 hours. I am anticipating that we should have a fair but doable level at Bloody Good Hole/Horseshoe Wave on Saturday. At this time this is the most likely location for ALL THREE FREESTYLE CLASSES. The beginner class will surf on horseshoe and the advanced/expert classes will be scored for moves on both Bloody Good and Horseshoe. The final schedule is pretty much set, and we updated most event descriptions to reflect this year's competition details. Some changes were necessary due to the current low water level. Make sure you check back on Friday, and don't be surprised if some details may change again, but the times and locations are pretty much up to date.
