A note from our 2005 chairman

Thanks to everyone who helped out with this year's Potomac Fest. It is safe to say that is takes a village to host a festival, and the event can only take place because so many people come together and do so much to make sure it all works out. First I would like to say a quick thank you to all the event coordinators: Paul, Kristen, Michelle and Joel, Risa our marketing coordinator, Colin our sponsorship coordinator, James our Risk Management Coordinator and Sunny who did whatever he could whenever he could. I also have got to thank everyone who came out to our pre-festival meetings and helped shape this years event, and also everyone who came out on the days of the event to transmit that vision into reality. Jana also recieves a great big thank you for answering all the festival's e-mails.

In addition to all of the festivals volunteers I owe a sincere thanks to the rangers at Great Falls, VA for not only putting up with us, but supporting us in every way possible, and the Volunteer Rescuers from Cabin John who are always ready in case something should go wrong.

I had a ton of fun helping to put together this years festival, and I owe that in large part to everyone who came out and helped out.
