Gear Swap

July 10, 2010 (5:00 – 9:30 PM)

Clean out your garage, organize your gear, and see what you can sell so that you can get NEW gear.

OR

Find great bargains for gear that you “need”!

Here's how:

 

  1. Attend the PotomacFest Party on Saturday night.
  2. Drop off your gear at the Gear Swap Area (follow the signs)
  3. Contribute to American Whitewater by paying $10 per boat and $5 for gear
  4. Get an index card at the booth, put your cell phone number on the card on your boat(s)/gear (we’ll help)
  5. Go enjoy the party and wait for your cell phone to ring – you negotiate the price with the buyer
  6. Canoe Cruisers Association (CCA) volunteers will GUARD the boats & gear and make sure that only YOU sell it or take it back home
